then there are useful information for you.
Before I graduated from secondary school,
every Friday I walked to a nearby government clinic to fix my teeth.
Fixing my teeth at the clinic helps to save up cost.
I used to think that people with braces looks COOL.
However, my teeth doesn't look pleasant whenever I smiled.

After completed NS,
my mum brought me to We Care Dental Surgery for teeth check.
A month later, my upper teeth has brackets without wire.
A week after that, my lower teeth has brackets without wire.

After having braces for the first couple of weeks,
I used to skip meals because of the pain and foods getting stuck.
About 4 months later, I'm used to the pain.
Since then, almost every single period in class
I was eating like nobody's business.
At times, I'm not able to eat
because of ulcers in my mouth.
Whenever I had a long day, I would carry a toothbrush with me.
This helps me to maintain cleanliness.
I have to brush my teeth frequently because food might stuck in between brackets.
Is better to brush than gargling.
Most of the times, children are staring at my mouth when I'm talking or smiling.
Sometimes, they asked why is your teeth like this.
A child can made my day simply by commenting on my braces.
Challenge accepted. I broke my brackets twice.
That happened when I was eating very fast due to hunger strikes.
Adjustment needs to be done once a month.
I usually had my dental appointment before lunch hour.
After that, my mum would take me for lunch.
I had a hard time in chewing my food for almost a week.

I've been having braces for 2.5 years.
NOW,
braces is officially off but retainer is on.
